IMPORTANT, READ CAREFULLY. This End User License Agreement ("Agreement")
is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity,
"you") and Jayesh Barman ("Licensor") for the SetuSSH software application,
including all executable files, associated media, and documentation
("Software"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you
agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do
not install or use the Software.

1. LICENSE GRANT
   Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Licensor grants you a
   personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install
   and use the Software for your own use, on the terms of whichever access
   tier applies to you under section 1A.

1A. ACCESS TIERS
   The Software is made available on a freemium basis. No license key is
   required to begin using it.

   (a) Trial. On first installation you receive a time-limited period,
       currently seven (7) days, during which all features are available
       without a license key.

   (b) Free tier. When the trial period ends, the Software continues to
       function indefinitely with a reduced feature set, currently a limit
       on the number of saved sessions, and the AI assistant disabled. You
       may use the free tier for as long as you wish. Your saved data
       remains yours and remains accessible.

   (c) Licensed tier. A license key issued by Licensor unlocks all features
       until the expiry date encoded in that key. When a key expires, the
       Software does not stop working: it reverts to the free tier described
       in (b).

   The specific limits of each tier may change between releases. Licensor is
   under no obligation to issue or renew a key.

1B. PRE-RELEASE BUILDS
   Builds identified as test, beta, or pre-release are provided for
   evaluation. They may be incomplete or unstable, and Licensor may modify,
   suspend, or discontinue them at any time without notice. You are
   responsible for deciding whether such a build is suitable for your
   circumstances.

2. RESTRICTIONS
   You may not, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by
   applicable law: (a) sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or
   otherwise commercially exploit the Software; (b) reverse engineer,
   decompile, or disassemble the Software, except and only to the extent
   applicable law expressly permits; (c) remove or alter any proprietary
   notices or labels on the Software; or (d) use the Software to develop a
   competing product by copying its expression rather than studying its
   ideas.

3. OWNERSHIP
   The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all right, title,
   and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property
   rights therein. This Agreement does not grant you any rights to
   trademarks or service marks of Licensor.

4. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
   The Software includes open-source components licensed under their own
   terms. Those components are provided under the licenses reproduced in
   the accompanying THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES file, which continue to govern your
   use of those components and, in case of conflict with this Agreement as
   to those components, control.

5. YOUR DATA
   The Software stores connection details and, at your option, credentials
   locally on your device. Licensor does not collect, transmit, or have
   access to your credentials or session data. The Software contains no
   telemetry and no analytics.

   Two features send data only when you choose to use them. If you configure
   the AI assistant with your own API key, the prompts and terminal output
   you share with it are sent to the model provider you selected, under that
   provider's terms; nothing is routed through Licensor. If you submit a
   crash report, it is sent to Licensor with sensitive values removed.

   You are responsible for safeguarding your own systems and secrets.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
   OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
   MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
   YOU BEAR THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE
   SOFTWARE.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
   TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL
   LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR
   CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF
   PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR
   INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
   SUCH DAMAGES.

8. TERMINATION
   This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates
   automatically if you breach any term. Upon termination you must cease
   all use and destroy all copies of the Software.

9. GOVERNING LAW
   This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, without regard to its
   conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of India shall have jurisdiction over
   any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.

10. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
    This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and
    Licensor concerning the Software and supersedes all prior or
    contemporaneous understandings.
